The Central Coast Conservatorium of Music Inc (CCCM) is the principal provider of music education on the NSW Central Coast. Based in one of the fastest growing regions of New South Wales, CCCM delivers more than 400 hours of music tuition per week to close to 1,000 students of all ages.

Located in the CBD of Gosford in a recently refurbished historic building overlooking Brisbane Water we are funded by lesson fees, sponsorship, and donations, with additional funding from the NSW Government.

We currently have more than 50 teachers on staff who deliver private and group lessons to our students with ensembles that feed the regional symphony, choirs and bands.  Our alumni have gone on to national and international careers.

Central Coast Conservatorium of Music – CEO

The CCCM is looking for a visionary, discerning and forward-thinking CEO to lead us through an anticipated period of change and growth after some challenging years. Someone who can support us to grow our reach and influence to make this region known for its music and performance opportunities for young and old alike.  A person who will work in tandem with a highly skilled and strategically focussed board to grow student numbers, refresh programs, nurture our culture, and engage with the wider Central Coast community to reinvigorate this much-loved music school and cultural hub.

Role Description

We are looking for a CEO who has a strong understanding of working in arts organisations and / or the Not-for-Profit sector. Someone with experience in establishing solid revenue streams, transforming businesses and shifting cultures. A person with a growth mindset and can-do attitude who can create a positive, cohesive and cooperative working environment and participate in the life of the CCCM and the surrounding community.

The role will require a high degree of flexibility and strong people and team management skills.  Any experience in fund raising and sourcing grants will be highly regarded as will skills in education and music.

As CEO you would be working alongside a highly qualified, credentialled and well-recognised Artistic Director and have strong financial and administrative support. Ideally you will be a Central Coast resident, who has ties with the community and can successfully raise funds to develop and grow the CCCM and its programs.

Salary

$130K base salary + superannuation + incentive pay
