Welcome to my first meal plan post.  Below is a summary of the week’s meals:





White Bean Spread w Tomato on a wholewheat English muffin

Chorizo & Mushroom Linguini (w cauliflower)

Steamed fish (w vegetables & Dijon lemon sauce)


Grill steak (w vegetables)


Steamed Chicken & Sausage Rice

For breakfasts, I’m going to do a white bean spread with sliced tomato on wholewheat English muffins.  The white bean spread recipe is here.

Lunch will be a chorizo and mushroom linguine.  The recipe serves 4, but I’m going to half the serves and add a side of cauliflower.  Cut the cauliflower into florets and that will cook when I reheat the pasta.

Monday’s dinner will use the Varoma to steam fish and vegetables.  The recipe is here.  Tuesday is a simple grilled steak with vegetables.  I use a grill pan for the steak and then fry the vegetables in the same pan while the meat rests.  I also add fried onions that I thinly slice and fry in a pan on medium heat until browned.  Wednesday’s chicken rice dish uses the straining basket to cook rice while the meat and vegetables will be done in the Varoma. I’ll reheat it for dinner on Thursday.  This is a new Thermomix recipe for me, so I’ll post it after I’ve tested it out.
